Message Only too little sense. If you're only 16 or 17, there are so many things you haven't experienced (in terms of driving). If you're smart, carefull, and sensible, you'll be fine with whatever you drive.

Or just do like I did... drive like you're parents are in the back seat (or hatch in a 2-seater) and you won't have any problems!

BTW... my first car was a 1978 Celica GT, custom grey/pearl paint with custom two-tone grey cloth/vinyl interior. I inheirited it in 1987 with 160,000 miles on it! In 1997, I sold it for $500 with 230,000 miles - I think I made out pretty good, don't you?
